Travelling with public transport in United Kingdom is hard work. Indeed, I had explored trains, buses, hired cars and tour operators to visit Durdle Door (The only natural heritage of England) from Hayes Town but all were hopelessly costly, time consuming and not worth the penny.Hence, when a hiker at Little Britain Lake, Iver said she was planning to travel to Durdle Door, I accepted the offer to Read on...
I was hoping to share only a minuscule amount of medical talk with you this time around.....but thats just not meant to be. Hmmmm.....I see your puzzled and bored looks....oh, whats in store now? YAWN! The first scenario doesnt deal with me! Surprise! Surprise! Surprise! The second one does, however. Snicker!

Sunday: Went and hiked the 1000 step PA challenge again because it was an amazing hike and I really enjoyed the view. There are other hiking trails in the area but there arent many actually on all trails. The ones Ive found have been word of mouth or just luck pulling off a road where another car is parked... kind of odd. Those 1000 steps really do kick your butt going up back down isnt super easy Read on...
Stuffed Suitcase had this to say, with a of my own, of course! Most of this applies only to trans oceanic flights, and most cross country flights. Comfortable Pants I would say this generally does not include denim for men or women, unless they are the stretch variety. Women can wear leggings; men are a bit more limited. But I have stopped wearing Bermuda shorts on long flights since my legs get c Read on...
We woke up at the usual kids alarm clock time, bright and early, as we have not quite adjusted to not having them around. We ordered room service for breakfast and relaxed by reading our books and enjoying the view. Our suite opened up to a patio with lounge chairs and a infinity pool that looked out to the ocean. The pool is a little cooler than the bigger pools so is a perfect place to cool of Read on...
Yes, folks, its that time of year. There is a coolness in the air more often. A few leaves have fallen to the ground. Others are just beginning to change color while still clinging to their branches. The golden rod is flourishing in the fields. In the distance, we hear a call: Come back, Come Back to Tropical Palms! Your concrete pad is waiting for you! Ooooo.concrete pad.. nice. Who wouldnt want Read on...
Today we set off to explore the Snaefells Peninsular, starting with the first point of interest which is clearly visible from our campsite, the Kirkufell Mountain. The waterfall is also supposed to be of interest though it looks a bit pathetic to us as we pass by. We do not stop as Ian has spotted the evil pay cameras - at least they are not on the public highway today!
We arrive in Olafsvik, the Read on...
Having been to Gallipoli twice before, both times just before Anzac Day to visit the historical sites and then for the Dawn service, I wasnt sure whether a third visit would be a bit same same. But visiting in summer, when its hot, and away from Anzac Day, when its far less crowded and more peaceful, brings a different perspective. Bringing kids (Im hot, how much longer, can I have icecream) also Read on...
A town and major ferry port in Kent in southeast England, Dover faces France across the Strait of Dover, the narrowest part of the English Channel, just 21 miles from Cap Gris Nez. Immortalized in books, movies, and songs (remember Vera Lynn?) over the years, the White Cliffs of Dover is the region of English coastline facing the Strait. The cliff face reaches a height of 350 and owes its striking Read on...
