Sunday dawned rather overcast and it looked very unlikely as light started to appear in the eastern sky that a rising sun out of the ocean, that we had hoped for, wasnt going to appear as we wanted. But there you go that is nature and lets face it the weather more than often doesnt always perform the way we want it to. Still it was quite magical to lie in bed and watch the light in the sky change an Read on...
Today is the last day of our trip, we fly back tomorrow morning. After last nights wonderful experience with Gaudis Park Guell, we were really looking forward to seeing Gaudis masterpiece church this afternoon, but first we have a brief excursion just outside of Barcelona to Catalonia to visit Montserrat. Myrtle Beach is the hub on the Grand Strand, a 60 mile string of beaches along the SC coast. Along with the great beaches, there are spectacular golf courses, making this a great vacation destination. There are boardwalks and all kinds of entertainment; arcades, amusement rides, and the scariest bungy jump chair I have ever seen. Its a fun family place to be. I spent a relaxing day on the beach. Issy is too, trying to guess what theyre saying to each other. We agree that the very loudest one just sounds like its swearing at all the others. Read on...
We were up and on our way soon after 6am. Once we got out of the town, we drove sooo many miles without seeing a single place to stop for coffee. Finally, we spotted the Silver Lake Mercantile. The place was so and the owners were quite friendly. The lady had a lot of unusual decorations outside, reminding of my wife. We grabbed our coffees and continued down the numerous small roads that would ev Read on...

Mays The last blog was posted on 9th October which is almost a month ago. What does this signal? Boredom, loss of interest or a sense that this little pesky virus is no longer ne Read on...
