Sunday night was our version of the Superbowl when the final game of the AFCON (Africa Cup of Nations) was played. Egypt played Senegal for the championship. The game didnt start until 10:00pm so we did not make it to the end of the game. But, we woke up to see Senegal won in penalty kicks 4 to 2.

Today were (kind of) back on track as were taking our original flight to Bocas del Toro; a group of Caribbean islands just off the Panamanian coast. We had originally planned to return from there to San Jos by a couple of bus rides to keep costs down. But as we have only spent one night in Panama City, we will now fly back at the weekend for our rescheduled canal trip.

Sunday: Day trip to Harpers Ferry West Virginia which is the very tip of WV and where the Shenandoah River and Potomac So you can see and be in all 3 states at once and be in all 3 within a few minutes. The Cycle Bridge: As someone who hasnt ridden a bicycle for several decades, it feels strange to blog about a cycle bridge. But this is far more than just a bridge for cyclists to use.
