First we stopped at Lindas Pancakes to give the Grace & Mercy coins to our two new friends, then off to Mangel Halto for an excellent drift snorkel. It was choppy but not a bad current. Could have been sunnier for the photos but we saw lots of good stuff, as you will see. Once again thwarted at Zee Rovers – they sold us grouper but no cooking going on there until tomorrow thru Sunday. We had also bought one red snapper at another site, so we will be eating lots of fish! No problem for us.
Had a lovely lazy afternoon before heading out to enjoy our first happy hour and to hear excellent live music – just a man and a woman doing a great variety, including reggae, which seems most appropriate.
It is noticeably uncrowded here at La Cabana. Our dining experience was red snapper, pan fried, left over yellow and nasi goreng rices from the Surinamese dinner last night, salad, and more of our wine (yes, we admit, we add sprite). What a hard life!
