Its so misty, its like a white blanket. You cant see anything from the ferry. Turns out that to get to Burano, we have to go to Murano, wait another hour for a ferry and then 1.5hrs ride to Burano. Didnt work this one out too well, well spend hours just getting to Burano, so we decide, just to go to Murano, look around, buy some glass, enjoy a desperate toilet break and some morning tea before ferrying back. Cute little place but didnt stray too far and bought some Murano glass souvenirs (€50). The ferry gets back in and we head in the opposite direction to yesterday, passing the Accademia and decide to get a ferry along the Main Canal. Turns out that the ferry tickets we bought dont allow you to get on the Main Canal ferry, so more tickets (€30). Bought tickets and just jumped on, went anywhere, rode a number of stops and got out and went exploring further. Tickets are only valid for an hour. We stopped for lunch (€30) and then couldnt take the ferry back, but strangely enough we ended up at the same place we got on the ferrywho knows how. Only good thing was that we knew where the toilet was.. €3 each!! Confusing place, easy to get lost. We bought some souvenirs and tasted the best pizza, courtesy of the ever hungry Ella. Graham still votes the best pizza as Rome. Back for a few drinks while the girls chill, then we head out for dinner nearby, although we couldnt find our way home. A really little authentic Italian place (€61). Graham tried the squid ink pasta. Kirsten had to get us home, so lost, and she did, but it turned out we walked a long way out of our way!! Its so easy to get lost here, just like walking in a maze.
