Another good day although the track was very rocky and rough. These conditions mean you have to be careful with every step as its so easy to roll an ankle. As such its surprising how much more effort goes into such a day. The distance and elevation with previous days but the extra degree of concentration means today was considerably more tiring than previous days.
The landscape is changing here, the colours are lighter and less intense and although weve seen plenty of gorse and heather here its not as intense. Its still delightful but
We are entering Poldark territory here and the landscape is bleaker, harder and harder than we have accustomed to. The chimneys and wheal remains remind us of bygone times. The Welsh influence is strong here, much of the Cornish language has much with Welsh.
Although its half time, Ive doubled the number of photos. Ive used Julies. Look and you will find them.
