Its finally filling like a sisters cruise, drinking free wine in the room and writing the blog and laughing our heads off.
We awake to cruising into Finland, no, THIS IS NOT HELSINKI!!!. Originally, we were supposed to go to Helsinki, Tallin and St Petersburgh. Blasted Russians, so instead we are in Mariehamn Finland. This is a cute little, but boring island. It is a vacation spot for Northern Europeans, we are not Northern Europeans.
Claire decided it was time to move out of her private room back into the sisters quarters. I did miss my sister and Susan appreciates that. We figured that turning off the TV(no signal) was a sign along with our covid release forms from the Dr.
rooms, we embarked on our tour. We saw houses from the 1800s and lots of rocks and a church that was 800 years old. Then we drove up a hill and saw the town from above. Oh, it was exciting. Ha, ha. At the church we saw a grave with the name ALM. Don was this a relative?
we headed out on foot into town. We did get to see the old houses up close and not with a quick drive by in the bus.
Back to the ship and we organized rooms since we were used to living apart. (Theres much more laughter living together, but then again, that could be the wine)
