Not the best start....missed our connecting train, so its packed lunch eaten on the kerb at the train station.
Off we head to Peschiera del Garda, Lake Garda (prebooked AUD$131). So sad to leave this beautiful place and this fabulous relaxing slice of heaven we called home.
On arrival we sorted the train tickets from here to San Candido because I couldnt book online. Turns out price just doubled ☹it now €150! But its ok, because I booked from San Candido to Lake Bled, a long trip and it was only €32.
Just to mix it up, this time our is a caravan park, on the lake for something different. A nice deluxe 3 bedroom park home!. Butterfly Camping Village. Okay, was smaller than we expected as you can see in the photo Graham can reach both walls and the light switch all at once. I still thought it was cute and nice with a little verandah. These places would go off in summer. Its own caf, shop, restaurant at the pool etc. Didnt have the extras like coffee, sugar, oil etc but we managed. The area seems very Dutch, in its restaurant and housing.
of Mandurah on a glassy day. We walked over to the west side of the lake and devoured Spritzers, Frappes and Icecreams (€23). What an afternoon tea. The Supermarket was a bit of a walk along a main road but with steaks and salad and bottled wine at €2 (€40), dinner is done and dusted. Except on our return, Kirsten managed to flood the bathroom. It was so small she didnt think she had to close the shower door!
