We have water! Finally! Remember how we told you about our broken water system? Well, its not broken anymore. We have water.yes, water..Im repeating myself. Tom, from RV Force, came and fixed our problem. Yay for Tom! Cory had ordered the needed parts from Tiffin so Tom could fix everything right then and there. Hooray! We tend to take so much for granted. Once its not there (like H2O)..woweeeeyou really appreciate what you had. Now we can shower and wash clothes in our RV. We dont need a bucket of water to flush the toilet. We can use our sinks again. Oh, happy days! Water, Water, Water everywhere.
Today, Driver Cory took us on a little jaunt. We went to the Mill Creek RV park on Michigan Ave. It is at this park that the last batch of TP Sandcastle cottages have been moved. We had been here before when the first group of cottages from Tropical Palms were moved to this location. It was close and tight then. Its really close and tight now. It was hard to figure out what they are going to do with all of the cottages as some seemed to placed here, there and
yonder. Theyll figure it out, I guess. Our day by a visit to Harbor Freight and our bestie: Walmart! Love Walmart!!
We saw the movie Cry Macho at the theater..the one with lounge chairs! The movie was good. Had Clint Eastwood so Cory was happy. The next movie well see is the Tammy Faye one.looks like a goody. They changed the name of the mall the theater is in to Dezerland. There are many fancy cars on display throughout the vast expanse of this place. They have an auto museum to go through with a ticket admission. We refrained. There is an axe throwing place called Axecelsior. Something for everyone. They have a huge area where the carts seem to glide along at fast speeds. They had many other enticing things to do.but not so much for Seniors such as ourselves. We left.
Something new for me! Im driving our car down here. Yes.so watch out! Im preparing myself for when Cory has his knee surgery and I have to drive us home and then back and forth to the Celebration hospital for his physical therapy. We were able to get him all
set up with Miranda (PT). She is who I had for my knees and she is terrific. I drove to the drugstore, too. We have to get Cory some meds after his surgery (knee replacement, ‘ member?). And I drove to the doctors office. Easy PeasyI have it down pat. Cory only grabbed the dash one time. Baby.
As we leave the roadway from our park and enter onto the main highway of 192, there is a homeless woman living at one of the corners. There are many homeless people all over down here. She is poorly dressed wearing some type of diaper garb. It rained so she stayed dry by putting herself inside a plastic bag. As you can see, on the sunny day, she noted me taking her picture. HELLO! Pathetic!
Cory and I stood on our bathroom scale.yikes! Our results are far more than from the pandemic situation. Its from enjoying eating out and eating anything and everything! Time to change. We have started walking and swimming. Cory does a second walk without me. One is enough for meits so hot here! Hardly anyone goes to the pool..for now anyway. That will change soon enough.
On occasion, it has only been Cory and me. Nice! Im going to use the workout center at the hospital when Cory is at his physical therapy sessions. It must be done! If not, Ill have to wear a name tag cause folks wont recognize me. Plumpothats what Ill be called.
When at the hospital to set up Corys PT, I took a picture of some unique and beautiful flowers. Have no idea what they are but they lined the sidewalk. They looked almost animalistic. What do you think?
Last Saturday, we went to the Auburndale flea market. It has always been just kind of It isnt even that anymore! Junky! The best part was the walking exercise we did. Of course, that was kind of defeated after we stopped at the Lake Alfred diner. Such good food there..yummy. Well be back! To the diner..
