The sculpture consists of two young deer perfectly balanced one on top of another with hooves touching. Like a reflection on an lake, their mirror images sports and conversation. The base, adorned with ice skate cuts, is reminiscent of the Limoilou districts traditional stair rails. Created by sculptor ric Lapointe pays tribute to Jean Bliveau and the As de Qubec, the professional hockey team based in the Colise de Qubec from 1928 to 1971.
