This list has changed rather dramatically from the last time I saw it. This one is from Travel Awaits (MSN) that is rather shocking, since Singapore, my personal favorite, is number eight!!! As times goes, the airlines change as well. I have a letter grade for my assessment of the airlines. Here is the list:Lufthansa I just flew them to Frankfurt, and on to Athens, Greece. They lost my luggage, an Read on...
Unser Rafting Guide Serkhan verspricht uns dann jede Menge davon. Es sei der absolut M Read on...

Another gorgeous day, bright and sunny. After a quick breakfast we were off to drive aroundLock Ness. The trip was mostly a very scenic day and not much to blog about. Pictures are worth a thousand words.
· Loch Ness Centre, the Nessie interpretive center. I very interesting look at the legend and science behind Nessie and the Loch itself.
· Urquhart Castle, the site dates back to 500 AD, but Read on...
After two days we left the Spitzkoppe Lodge with its unique setting amidst boulders and sand, heading for the Atlantic Coast. Passing the desert of the Dorob National Park we thought for a minute to be in Arabia. The sand structure changed from red into known yellowish tint. The shape of the dunes reminded us of our Arabic Emirates excursion, we had in 2018. Dorob, means dry land, which indeed it Read on...
If our photos are anything to go by, we must have spent most of this time bird watching, so I hope someone else was keeping watch over our two toddler offspring. Neither Issy nor I can claim to be avid birdwatchers, who I always associated with whistles and funny hats, so I suspect we may have been more intent on testing out our photography skills than having any real interest in potential feather Read on...
So we ended our day dragging out luggage (did I say weve been gone for 25 days?) to our bnb for last evening. So we started our day today doing the same thing.dragging out luggage from last nights bnb to the one we have for the next two days. We laughed as we saw people out for their morning walk with their dogs or their children or even their significant other and we were walking our luggage.

It has been an interesting couple of months for an Australian getting ready to travel to Portugal to walk two of the Christian pilgrimage walks there.
Elaine and I had already tested leaving Australia (and returning) when we visited my son and other friends in England right at the end of 2021. It was a wonderful trip, but not without some major changes to what we doing, and what we had to do to m Read on...
Today we are in Crab Bay, surrounded by forests, beautiful mountains and a peaceful inlet. For the morning activity, Ken decided on another bushwhack, while I chose the bushwhack light or as I came to call it, the Baby Bushwhack. The normal one was a excursion through the brush, and I just wasnt sure I wanted to thrash through the forest for that long.
Prior to landing with our skiff on the sho Read on...
We had a first today. I had a puncture just going south out of Belfast on the cycleway which hugs the river. I felt the rim touching the ground and knew the worst had happened, especially the rear wheel, which meant removing all my bags and dropping the chain etc. Luckily it was not raining and the job took less than 15 minutes before we were on our way again. The puncture was caused by a tiny pie Read on...
