The storminess of the day held off long enough to give us a picturesque walk along the Bow River and into the Inglewood district. We met at Pearce Estate Park and immediately headed down to the Bow River. The delightful smell and sound of crunched leaves us through the wooded part of the path. The clear blue river was calm enough to act as a mirror for the trees and high rises in the distance. Br Read on...

Our next stop was Naxos. We wanted to spend a week in one destination and we didnt know if we should spend it in Naxos or Paros. After reading a lot of blogs and guides, I decided that Naxos was the right choice for us. And it was! We left Santorini in the rain. Sailing past Ios, we could hardly see it. Actually, it was sort of like the last time we were there. You could say we spent our honeymoo Read on...

Here is the last entry of our 5 weeks spent in Russia in these trouble times of 2022. Initially we were going to leave St Petersburg on the 12th of March, but we ended up our flight five days ahead of the schedule time. Result of this was our stay in Moscow would be shortened by few days too. The think I miss about the last 3 blogs is not to have been able to share great pictures of the great fr Read on...
The place we are staying is called Alexanders Lodge and it is just a few miles from the entrance to the National Park. The lodge was originally built in 1899 and has had several owners who have remodeled and added bathrooms. It is a nice place with a pond and several hiking trails through some interesting rainforest. After a short hike through the rainforest, Kevin and I set out for a day in Mt. R Read on...
Next day, we went to visit the Everglades national park. This was the place I was most eager to see in this trip. The Southern part of Florida is almost tropical. There are 2 distinct seasons: dry and wet. In the winter, we were in the dry season. This is the best time to visit as animals are concentrated around waterholes. We saw countless birds, alligators, turtles, snakes, fish, etc.... Diff Read on...
